What Happened Last Nite?

Listen up....
i dont know what happened last nite but i got some very nasty /tells from other Dynamis LS cause we took Kuponet's dynamis time slot... this /tells were bnot just from that LS but were from other LS' too... so wth happened with that? is ther esome kind of schedule that we need to follow?

From what I gather, ther is some random website somewhere where people claim you must reserve a time for your Dynamis Run.

While I can see where a site with who is planning on doing what and when can be useful, to launch insults and demands at anyone simply becuase they did not know that you had some weird little secret club is moronic.

In addition to the tells you recieved I got quite a few myself. Most are not the kind of things I would post here or I'd have to ban myself.

My favorite however was the person who demanded I order everyone to leave immediately because we had "stolen" their 'reserved' slot. There was even an attempt by this peson to explain how anything that dropped was rightfully THEIRS....yeah..ok...whatever.

Now maybe it's just how it was handled by those who sent me tells personally, but if the people involved behave this way towards one another when an innocent mistake is made I'm not entirely sure I want to have any part of this little secret society of theirs.

I'm trying to figure out what it's all about, and find a person I was told to talk to in game about the site and how to find it.
Again, maybe it's me but doesn't this sound just a LITTLE like some childish secret club crap? I mean, I've googled it, I've searched Ala, I've looked on Killing Ifirt, even ffxionline.com, and I can't find any mention of a Dynamis Reservation site ANYWHERE.

So either they were being little twerps or this is the best kept secrect on the internet.

One person was comparatively nice about the whole thing, and that was cool. But for such a reaction to occur and the names and comments I was sent to be used becasue a group who had NO IDEA that such a little clique existed and not one offered anything more than a person to send a /tell to "The next time he's on" (as If I can randomly guess when THAT will be), to learn more about it all only re-enforces my opinions of many HNM/Dynamis LSes in this game.

I am in Kuponet and I even got attacked by this one person because I was in DBS, I Was like wtf, and almost went balistic, but the LS leader basically told him to calm down. That&#39;s why I have him Blisted up and only remove him 1hr before Dynamis starts.

Rick, I haven&#39;t heard ANYTHING like this either. I would think that if there was a schedule that needed to be followed or a place to sign up for a slot. Call me negative, but I think these people are idiots. If there was to be something like this, then Square-Enix would have made it so you had to pick a time... I dunno, it just gets me stemed that they are being rude to my fellow Dynamis-ters...
If they are making a list somewhere, then make it known to everyone. To me, this is like them getting mad because you claimed an NM and it was "supposed to be theirs" because they were next on the schedule to get it...

I don&#39;t want people pissed at us for an honest mistake, but if it&#39;s a load of crap then they can all go twist in the wind because we were there and went in . Hell we didn&#39;t do Jeuno becuase I got word that another LS was doing it at 7-7:30PM so I switched us to Sandy.... no big deal. They got there first.


Seems to me... if SE wanted it to be some kind of reservation system they&#39;d have set something up like they do for Ballista matches.

I also took MASSIVE issue at the comment of one person who made the statement that "any REAL Dynamis LS knows about it and if you weren&#39;t such a noob you&#39;d know it. ALL LS, Dynamis or not, that are serious know of it"... ummm ok 200+ people in this LS nearly 500 peopl who have come in and out over the past 18-20 months and no one knew about it... so....go twist?

I mean the closest I got was Ryath commenting on that he thought there was some site somewhere where people trying to co-operate and share times and plans...but man if HE isn&#39;t clear on the details then it must not be anywhere NEAR as "well known" as they claim it is.

And UNC who has been in 2-3 Dynamis/HNM LS as far as I know.. obviously never mentioned it to me..sooo I&#39;m guess HIS LSes aren&#39;t "REAL" either.... which would oddly include Kuponet based on his last post.

I have no clue about a website that they discuss which times people go in, etc. I heard to many different things last night about DBS is doing dynamis sandy, dynamis jueno, dynamis bastok. All I know is when Kuponet, and DBS does their runs. I really could care less about the others...

Edit...//from what I gather is most of these people are together in an HMN LS...So they post on a HNM website as to where the site is, I have no clue. From what I gather is Bedrock runs the show.

i THINK I found it.

It&#39;s Spikeflail&#39;s website, and just to add MASSIVE humor to all this in MY book.. the person who runs it is Bedrock.. a 75DRK.... so again, given he&#39;s 75DRK and UNC wasn&#39;t aware of this... my money says it&#39;s CRAP.


In fact in looking at this &#39;Calendar&#39; I see that it has only been around since August 16, 2005 (that&#39;s the FIRST &#39;reserved&#39; time slot this year on the whole calendar and only 4 days before our first Sandy run BTW). It also appears to only be used by about 4-5 Linkshells Tshot, Lemon, Sparkle, and Kuponet. Hardly what I would call "a reservation system" as it was described.

I would point out that the &#39;REAL&#39; HNM/Dynamis LS I am aware of, Solstice, TheCrew, Fate, TriNova, etc, aren&#39;t using it...so I give it little weight.

Hell this forum has a calendar...maybe we should bitch them out for not checking OUR calendar. For tht matter maybe WE should set up a &#39;reservation system&#39;. LMAO.

There was talk of such a website over a year ago, but it never really went anywhere. A number of LS leaders decided they did not really like that idea, and there were a few that didn&#39;t really cooperate. That, and the fact that dynamis underwent a HUGE social change on our server (People used to just have dynamis-only LS, now most go with their HNMs, and there are a FEW dynamis LS left).

For the most part, it is my understanding that dynamis is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Now, if you KNOW that your time in dynamis overlaps with another LS time, some leaders send the LS leader a tell trying to figure out who is going where to avoid any conflict. And, some just rush to connect to server if they see you gathering and ignore your tells.

Personally, I think this server is kind of unforgiving when people try new things. I do not know if it is fear of change, too much competition, whatnot. So, the fact that you got quite obnoxious tells does not surprise me. Always saddens, but not surprises.

To avoid any future nastiness (you can&#39;t blist everyone that is nasty on this server), you can get to know the LS that do dynamis right around your time, and see if you can talk to them about where they are going. Some will cooperate, some will tell you to go to hell. But, at least you tried to be a cooperative player instead of acting just like them.

Actually frosty this is exactly how we ended up in Sandy instead of Jeuno last night. I found out Solstice was planning to do Jeuno a little earlier than we were. My thinking was.. ok they are going to get there first..it&#39;s theirs. We&#39;ll go do Sandy instead. The way I see it, we got to Sandy first..before the other LS, and without knowing they had any plans, went in first. No different to me than if two LS tried to claim the same NM at the same time...you win it you win it... that&#39;s part of the game.

Seriously though the scheduling thing isn&#39;t a half bad idea...even for an HNM LS. I mean, in truth, we could have gotten to Sandy last night only to find someone else was already in.. it happens. So we&#39;d have been stuck there with a spent Hourglass and the need to wait for however long. Should we go whine and cry about not getting what we wanted when we wanted it? Its a game..and that&#39;s part of it.
