Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall

An older game from 1996, is now free as a download from Bethesda Softworks as a celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Elder Scolls series.

Since this game is 13 years old, you will need to download a DOS emulator.
A good one, which is recommended by Bethesda to use is DOSBox, which can be found here: http://www.dosbox.com/

I highly recommend using the alternate guide, because it includes ways to make the game run smoother. An emulator for DOS will run slower than your system under XP or Vista, so it would be recommended to follow the optimization instructions.

I love this game I had never played any of the elder scrolls games previously, but Oblivion kept me hooked for 180 hours
