    Dragon Age: Origins

Since people have been discussing it in the Borderlands thread, here's a separate thread for Dragon Age.

I bought it last night, haven't played much, BUT I AM LOVING IT. Gamespot gave it a 9.5/10. This RPG has truly raised the bar.

    BIOWARE FTW!!!!

In closing, Dragon Age: Origins: Discuss.

Loving the gameplay and story, but if you have a computer capable of running it get it for that, and not for a console. I had to get it for 360 because of my computer being wimpy, and the resolution is very disappointing, and apparently the PS3 version has some serious frame rate issues. I have to say that I believe this is Bioware's best RPG yet, I've played all of their games since Neverwinter Nights and this game is absolutely excellent, the gameplay is from the start a challenge while also being fun. I've only just gotten through the Origin story which I have to say is also very good, but I can tell I'm going to be playing this game a lot.

Which origin did you choose? I chose the male Dalish Elf Warrior origin.

I'm past the origin story, and currently, do to a sloth demon in one leg of the main quest, I am stuck in a dream world.

I chose Dwarf noble, nothing like a 10% chance to resist hostile magic.

Really loving this game at the moment I'v got compleatly sucked in and I think all the little things they have added like the conversations your party members randomly have is very cool, they keep making me laugh.

    So I propose a question.

What is your favorite party set up?
When all else fails, go for the eyes!

I went human noble rogue lmao. Talk about honor there ha ha!

Anywho I've already beaten the game once and rerolled to try some other stuff out. Just curious about things I didn't do the first go around.

My favorite set up is having two mages, a rogue for picking locks and playing bait. Stealth and arrows for the win! Then having Alistair as my tank. I made sure he's sword and board all the way. So far it's pretty much an unbeatable combo. Mages do AOE's and some awesome pinning tactics to keep you mob levels down. I highly recommend getting crushing prison for at least one mage. It'll save your ass a lot especially against boss type enemies.

My usual party set up is Alistair is my tank (if not him then I use Sten). Wynne stays back as a super healer (lifesaver) and Shale (Stone Prisoner DLC character) as DPS.

My Dalish Elf rogue then moves in behind, activates Momentum for insane attack speed, and backstabs rapidly.

Sounds like a good game. I might have to pick this one up.

I've heard good things about assassin's creed 2 as well.
