I picked up the game recently and i love it. Right now all of my charachters are lvl 10 and i am having a lot of fun with it.

My party setup is Shale (the stone prisoner), Morrigan, Wynn (nothing like a stonefist on an enemy suffering from Winter's Grasp, and me, a Dwarf noble warrior. I love the dwarf noble warrior, at lvl 10 i somehow have my strength to 35. Cant wait to be able to use my blood dragon armour.

So, who here has faced the Broodmother? Isn't even more grotesque in person?

The Broodmother is one nasty fight, I'm almost done with the game and that is definitely the hardest fight I've had so far.

Great thanks for ruining it for those of use who arent there yet. No im just kidding i saw her in a video. Cant wait to fight her, if it even is a her .

Its a her, and one nasty her too. I've played through the game, and it may have been the gear I had at that point in the game but the Broodmother was a harder kill than the final boss, I very nearly had a full wipe on the Broodmother and on the final boss I only lost my mage.

Ok, two questions have been asked. Which origin did you choose? What is your favourite party make-up? New question now: Who is your favourite companion or companions?

Personally I like Alistair and Sten. Alistair's humour lightens most situations, while Sten evens that out to bring you back to reality

Human, Male, Warrior (I know, big shocker for those that know me)

I love to have Morrigan, Alistair, and that female rogue (cant remember her name)

But I am like the USS Lost Souls...I pick up everyone and everything....I have Sten, I have that Rogue Assassin, Wynne, My Dog, and I am sure I will pick up even more along the way.

I try to rotate them in and out, keeping them all of equal rank.

But my favorites are by far, Morrigan and Alistair...thier banter is hilarious. (Actually I just love listening to Claude Black talk)

A friend from work is playing and he told me he has entered the Mage's tower with Morrigan, Wynne, and the female rogue in his party. My play through I had Wynne, Sten, and the female rogue...I got my butt kicked at several of the harder mobs. Wondering if Morrigan would have made a better choice instead of Rogue. Ah well, made it through now I am on to bigger and better things.

I would wait until later to use Leliana, when you grab more xp for your party. At first, she's very weak, but at higher levels, she can be very useful as a support character, as her sub-class is Bard.
