W32 Worm in wextractor
Curious if anyone else's spyware/virus software detected this? Up until last night no, problem, I updated for LOTRO SoM and next thing I know my Anti-Virus pops up with three warnings that it can not quarantine.
One message said it was part of Direct X9.0c update. However I am using 10. Yet LoTRO launcher tried to install Direct X9.0c.
Reading the web, wextractor.exe is a legit program that is a .cab extractor. So something is giving off a false positive.
Anyone else experience this?

From what I can see it's legit and sounds like you're just getting a false positive.

Maybe they are realistic, but so would be a system where once you died they deleted your character and I don't think anyone wants that much realism.
