Looks good to me, though it may be possible that there's something I'm missing.
The only thing I'm not sure of is the power supply, but it's probably fine. Might just be me.
I might just be able to afford a new PC soon.
I'm on a limited budget and have priced some stuff based on some specs posted here and all I can say it, you guys have some expensive systems hehe (at least, based on UK prices in the tin-pot banana republic)

I'd be especially interested as to what sort of settings this machine could run LOTRO at, if anyone has any idea please?

Maybe they are realistic, but so would be a system where once you died they deleted your character and I don't think anyone wants that much realism.

I vote for the first one.... should have no trouble running Lotro with graphics setting on high..
the 2nd link you posted has shared video/system memory. not so good for gaming.

While the second one has the better processor, the first one has the better (by far) video card. Shame you can't find something with an i5 and a GTX 260. You'd have what Anita runs!
This is probably well outside what you're looking to spend, but it's a pretty good set up.
